Our engineers are excited to attend The Transformer Association (TTA) 2019 Spring Meeting on April 23, 2019 in Nashville, TN. The TTA Spring Meeting is a unique opportunity for those in the transformer manufacturing industry to connect and network. The three-day event features presentations focused on gaining technical insights on solid state transformer technology, recent advances in soft magnetic materials, and much more.

This year, our engineers will be attending a guest lecture on tariff and trade issues with Adams Lee of Harris Brickens. We also look forward to TTA’s robust technical and engineering forums which will feature important current developments in solid state transformers, recent advantages in soft magnetic materials and component design, and applications relevant core characterizations and data sheet development.

​Our team is thrilled to be attending The Transformer Association (TTA) Annual Meeting on November 28 – 30, 2018 in Savannah, GA. The annual gathering is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet with our vendors and suppliers while gaining valuable insights from other magnetic manufacturing businesses in the electrical components and power supply manufacturing industries. We will be joined at the meeting by more than 50 other companies and representatives from the electrical engineering and materials supply sectors.

Advances in manufacturing capabilities offshore have made it possible to easily purchase off-the-shelf transformers and other magnetic components at reduced costs. And while off-the-shelf solutions may appear to save time and money on the front-end, they can bite you on the back-end if they're even slightly off the mark. Compatibility glitches due to undocumented parameters, production and shipping delays, and customer dissatisfaction can quickly turn a bargain into a bonfire.

Our team is looking forward to attending The Transformer Association (TTA) 2018 Spring Meeting, April 24 – 26 in Fort Worth, TX. The annual gathering is an ideal occasion to share best practices, meet with vendors and partners, and to have conversations with other businesses in our industry. We will be joined at the event by dozens of other companies from the transformer manufacturing and materials supply sectors.​

TTA 2018 Spring Meeting features a variety of technical and engineering forums. Of special interest to us this year is the Electrical Transformer Material Updates series which includes useful forecasts for production materials, many of which we use to manufacture custom transformers, such as: varnishes & coatings, ferrite, powder core, flexible insulations, Nickel, Aluminum, Copper, and molded plastics. The materials updates provide insight into future pricing and availability, and development of new products.    ​

​Our team had a productive week attending APEC 2018 – The Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition – on March 4-8 in San Antonio, TX. As first-time exhibitors, we were immediately engaged by the variety of activities and professional training sessions made available to attendees.

On the exposition floor, we had a wonderful time meeting with customers, strengthening partnerships, showing off our capabilities, and checking out the competition. Our booth, which was strategically located next to the food and beverage area, was fully decked out with new signage, a variety of sample parts, fun giveaways, and, of course, free candy bars.
